will feature some of the top women in golf, LPGA Superstars with New Mexico ties!  This 2nd Annual Tournament will kick off September 5th at the Sierra del Rio Golf Course in Elephant Butte.  Last year's event had record crowds nearing 4,000, making it the largest single day golf event in the State's history!

The City of Elephant Butte (Inc. in 1998), nestled on the shores of New Mexico’s largest lake and located between two major metropolitan areas (Albuquerque & El Paso),  was named for the extinct volcanic cinder cone  that resembles an elephant, located at the south end of the lake by the dam.

Elephant Butte offers travelers great motels, restaurants, churches, service stations, bait shops, banks, auto/boat sales & repair, gift shops, fishing & tour guide services and more.

Located along the Geronimo Byway, Elephant Butte is a hub for day trips to local historical sites and the Gila National Forest.

This clean and quiet community is a great place to get away from it all for a day or a lifetime. The climate is ideal for year-round outdoor activities and special events.   So come join us!

The Chamber is the Business Resource Center for the Community!

We answer questions daily, by phone, email and in person from current and potential residents, short and long term visitors, business owners and those planning to locate their businesses in Elephant Butte.

People ask about the lake, beach access, boat sales, service & storage, brochures, business referrals, directories, events, family activities, fishing, golf, hotels, hot mineral springs, hot springs motorplex, maps, rv parks, rv service & storage, real estate, resorts, restaurants, schools, spas, spaceport america, state parks, etc.

The Chamber is known by the Companies it keeps!
